I just purchased a 2003 Lexus SC430 with aftermarket radio radio and can get the antenna to go down when car is on and radio is off I’m trying to take it through car wash but can’t seem to get antenna to stay down any suggestions

I am new to this forum & have just taken receipt of a 2024 LC500 coupe with the performance package. I live in the northern Virginia area which has weather ranging from snow/ice to hot/humid. I’m looking for advice on what to purchase as a car cover for outdoor parking unit I can arrange for a garage. The car is black with toasted caramel interior. One issue I’ve seen raised by a couple of cover companies online concerns the carbon fiber roof. I’ve seen fine print saying don’t use a cover on carbon fiber because of sun and heat. I don’t understand the logic.

A 1994 Lexus GS 300 that cranks (turns over) but will not start can have several possible causes. The most common areas to check are: 1. Best First Diagnostic StepsVerify battery voltage is above 12V. Check for spark. Check fuel pressure. Check injector pulse. Perform a compression test if spark and fuel are present. Question: When you crank the engine, do you smell fuel, and does the tachometer move slightly while cranking? Those two observations can help narrow the diagnosis considerably.
